asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many Welsh local authorities have reported that their quota for home loans in the current year is already exhausted; and if the Government will consider making additional grants available.

No Welsh local authority has yet reported that its quota for the current year has been exhausted. It is too early to say whether it may later be possible to make additional funds available to authorities with special needs from any balances not taken up by other authorities.
