I beg to move Amendment No. 2, in page 4, line 13, to leave out "that subsection" and to insert: the said subsection (1) in accordance with subsection (2)(a) of this section". This is a drafting Amendment to make it clear that a ratepayer who defaults on the payment of an instalment and whose notice is thereupon cancelled is not entitled to give a fresh notice in the same year but has to wait and make another application in the three-month period 1st February-30th April or give notice to pay by instalments in the next year. This makes it clear for the avoidance of doubt.
