We remain in close and constant contact with members of the Commonwealth and other friendly Governments in the area, and I am always ready to discuss these problems with any Government wishing to do so. I do not foresee any change in the character of these regular consultations in the near future.
Are such consultations enough? In view of the growing importance of Eastern and Southern Asia, will the right hon. Gentleman consider making facilities available for Members of Parliament to visit these countries so that they can inform themselves at first hand about what is happening without being obliged to some foreign Government or lobby for their facilities?
