Lords Amendment No. 36: In Schedule 1, page 38, line 3, leave out "Gas Act 1948" and insert "principal Act".

I beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.

This is a drafting Amendment. As explained in the Bill, the Gas Act, 1948, will be referred to as "the principal Act".

Lords Amendment No. 37: In Schedule 1, page 38, line 15, after first "the" insert "said".

I beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.

Again this is a drafting Amendment. It inserts the words "said" before "Act of 1964", so as to make it clear that the reference is to the Continental Shelf Act, 1964, previously referred to.
