Education authorities were asked in a recent circular to take steps to achieve increased support among local employers for all day-release courses, and I am confident that there will be a significant improvement as a result of the measures being taken under the Industrial Training Act. In Aberdeen, work started in January on a new commercial college which will provide greatly improved facilities.
