Part of Oral Answers to Questions — Ministry of Defence – in the House of Commons at 12:00 am on 10 June 1964.
Mr Fred Mulley
, Sheffield Park
12:00,
10 June 1964
asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish details of the modified multilateral nuclear force proposals which have been submitted for study within the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
