Part of Oral Answers to Questions — British Army – in the House of Commons at 12:00 am on 22 January 1964.
Mr Albert Hilton
, South West Norfolk
12:00,
22 January 1964
asked the Secretary of State for War how many acres of land were used by his Department in the Stanford battle area, Norfolk in1946, 1952, and 1963, respectively; when the latest review of this area took place; and when he will again review this area.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
