asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware of the closing of the Imperial Tobacco Company's factory in the borough of Devizes; and what action he is taking to find alternative employment for the skilled labour who will lose their jobs.

Yes, Sir. I understand that some of the skilled workers at this factory are being offered alternative employment in Bristol by the firm concerned. My local officers will do all they can to find work for the remainder.
