asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a further statement on the talks with the representatives of the West Indies citrus growers.
I have nothing at present to add to my reply on 16th July to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Surbiton (Mr. Fisher).
Can the right hon. Gentleman confirm whether or not the talks are continuing or whether they have, in fact, broken down? Can he give us some assurance about long-term contracts?
They have certainly not broken down.
