asked the Postmaster-General if he will make a statement regarding the progress of the building of the new telephone exchange at Rugby; and what is the estimated date of completion.
Work on the extension of the Rugby telephone exchange building started in December 1957; the extension is now 60 per cent. completed. It should be finished by October next year, and we hope to have the equipment installed and ready for service early in 1961.
