asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take action to implement that part of the Report of the Hodgson Committee on Weights and Measures which deals with solid fuel.
These recommendations can be implemented only by legislation. I regret that Parliamentary time does not at present permit my right hon. Friend to introduce a Weights and Measures Bill including provisions about the sale of solid fuel.
Could the Parliamentary Secretary try to be a little more helpful? Why not tackle this matter now by instalments, and why not start off with solid fuel?
