asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the number of new private car registrations made by firms and by private individuals, respectively, during the latest 12-month period.
The number of new private cars registered during the 12 months ended 31st October, 1957, was 388,188. I cannot say how many of these were registered by firms or private individuals.
Is the hon. Gentleman aware that I should very much like to have that information, if he could get it?
I am afraid that it is not available.
