This information is not available in the precise form asked for. I am writing to the hon. Member.

Will the Minister hurry up and get me the information? He will be able to correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that he will find that owing to the "bulge" now reaching secondary schools in Wales it is far harder for a child to get to the secondary grammer school now than it was six years ago.

These are complicated statistics, but I hope to sign a letter to the hon. Member this afternoon.
