While thanking my right hon. Friend for that reply, may I ask him if he is aware of the gratitude that will be felt by the public to the Admiralty for enabling this lovely and worthy monument to our national genius to continue to adorn the London scene? May I further ask if he is aware of the great satisfaction felt by many of Her Majesty's subjects that this splendid ship should once again be flying the proudest and most beautiful flag in the world, the White Ensign?
