The Cardiff City Council has not approached me over this; I will gladly consider any suggestions that are made.

Is the Minister aware that at a recent public meeting of residents in this area considerable concern was expressed at the increased danger, and that if he consults the Cardiff police he will find that they support this recommendation?

As I have said, I will gladly consider any recommendation that is made, but, as I told the hon. Member, the city council, as the highway authority, has not made any recommendation to me about this.
