asked the Secretary of State for War what progress has been made in his discussions with the Secretary of State for Air in respect of the army's future needs of helicopters.
Mr Anthony Head
, Carshalton
Progress.

Would the right hon. Gentleman say something about this progress? Is he aware that these discussions have been going on for a long time? Surely Korea has proved that the army needs helicopters.
Mr Anthony Head
, Carshalton
I agree with that last statement, but I would rather make a full statement at the end of progress than an unfortunate statement in the middle of it.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
