Is my right hon. Friend aware that of the six Members of Parliament who sit on regional hospital boards, not a single one comes from the party on this side of the House? Is he also aware that the Labour candidate at Ripon in the General Election in 1950, although he was defeated by 10,000 votes, and who had no qualification whatever to sit on a regional hospital board, was appointed to the Leeds Regional Hospital Board for the service that he had rendered to the Labour Party?
