Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for the payment of subsidies in respect of calves, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of the amount of—

  1. (a) the payment made in pursuance of schemes under the said Act for subsidies in respect of calves born on or after the first day of October, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and
  2. (b) other expenses of any Minister incurred in pursuance of the said Act.—[Sir T. Dugdale.]
