asked the Secretary to the Treasury how many copies of the booklet of 64 pages entitled "Education in Britain," classified H 1c, have been published by the Central Office of Information; and what has been the total cost, including authorship.

Following are the details:

While thanking my hon. Friend for his answer, may I ask him whether he is aware that the material contained in the pamphlet "Education in Britain" is also to be found in the "Weekly Survey of Home Affairs," so that it is superfluous?

The publication in question was prepared at the time at the request of two of the overseas Departments which took the view that it would be of assistance to the work of their information sections overseas.
