We consider that this Bill will raise questions which are of great importance to the labour and to the trade unions in this country. We therefore think that it is right that the trade unions should have an opportunity to express their opinions on this Bill. Parliament will decide the policy. The Conservative Party does not allow itself to be governed from outside. As I said earlier today, the party opposite would be the first to complain if we did not ask the Trades Union Congress for their opinion.
