I was saying it was the right hon. Gentleman and his colleagues who threw the spanner into the works by nationalising the industry. What we are going to do is to try and get it out. All this trouble could have been avoided if the Labour Government had taken the advice given to them by the Opposition in the last Parliament. We pointed out to the late Government repeatedly that their proposal to nationalise the steel industry had failed to obtain the support of a majority of the electors.
