I shall endeavour to reply to the main points made by the right hon. Member for Vauxhall (Mr. G. R. Strauss), in moving this Amendment. I shall deal in particular, as the right hon. Gentleman did, with the problems arising on the steel industry, and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department, when he speaks later in the Debate, will concentrate to a greater extent on the problems of road haulage.
