Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the Home Secretary stated, "We cannot control General MacArthur because we do not pay him"; that that is both offensive and untrue and that it is high time His Majesty's Government, including the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary, took responsibility for the foreign policy of this country, and dealt with the United States of America in the way in which the right hon. Member for Woodford (Mr. Churchill) and President Roosevelt did in the last war?
