asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations how many cases so far have been brought to his attention of persons who have, until now been regarded as British subjects by birth, although born in India, who now find since the passing of the British Nationality Act, 1948, that they are neither citizens of the United Kingdom nor citizens of India and what action it is proposed to take to provide for such cases.
