asked the Minister of Education whether he is aware that the development by the London County Council of the Wandsworth County School for Boys, Sutherland Grove, S.W.18, from 500 pupils to 2,000 pupils involves building over the playing fields; whether this has his approval; and what alternative playing-field accommodation is to be provided.

I am aware of this proposal. The usual three months' statutory notice of it was published on 24th May, and I can make no decision about it until the end of the period during which objections may be submitted.
