I am glad to be able to say that Sir Percy Mills has accepted my invitation to become Chairman of the Corporation. I have also appointed five other Directors, whose names I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT. I announced the prospective appointment of the Managing Director, Lord Halsbury, in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend, the Member for King's Norton (Mr. Blackburn) on 10th May. The Corporation accordingly came into existence on 28th June, and I am sure that hon. Members will join with me in wishing it every success in the very important work it has to do.

Will my right hon. Friend make sure that the address of the Corporation is made known as soon as possible so that the many inventors who are writing to Members of Parliament and the Committee may know where to send their applications?

Yes, Sir, I will see to that.

May I ask what are the terms of reference of the Committee, as I regard them as important?
