asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury when further details of foreign holiday travel allowances may be expected; and what arrangements will be made for those who may already be abroad when the ban is lifted.

I refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which my right hon. and learned Friend gave to the Member for West Leicester (Mr. Janner) on 16th March. Those already abroad in a country with which travel arrangements have been made may apply in the ordinary way through their bank for the holiday allowance.
