Resolution [26th February] reported:

CIVIL ESTIMATES, ESTIMATES FOR REVENUE DEPARTMENTS AND ESTIMATES FOR THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, 1948–49. (VOTE ON ACCOUNT.)

Motion made, and Question proposed, That a sum, not exceeding £698,574,000, be granted to His Majesty, on account for or towards defraying the charges for the following Civil, and Revenue Departments and for the Ministry of Defence for the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1949.
