Apart from certain special cases where existing pension rights are preserved, there is at present no pension provision for members of the boards of socialised industries. Except in the case of the Airways Corporations, the relative legislation, however, enables such provision to be made.

Is it not misleading to compare the value of such salaries with pensionable salaries?

Is the right hon. and learned Gentleman aware that I asked an exactly similar question of the Minister of Fuel and Power, who refused to answer on the grounds that he need not do so?
