When some months ago the hon. Gentleman the Member for Nelson and Colne (Mr. S. Silverman) made the speech in which he referred to shabby moneylenders, I confess that at the time I thought he had used merely the language of hyperbole and had gone a little further than he meant to but now he has come here this evening apparently for the special purpose of justifying what he said on that occasion.
