asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the total quantity of paper which has been used by his Department in the campaign to recruit women to industrial employment.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that a great deal of this paper is sent out without any inquiry as to whether the people to whom it is sent will make use of it? Also, is he aware that very large envelopes are sent out with a great many leaflets and pamphlets, and that there is a great deal of waste? Will he look into the matter because, as far as I know, no use is made of this material?
