I beg to move, in page 32, line 29, at the end, to add: (7) The powers conferred on a local planning authority by this section to make a building preservation order may be exercised also by the council of the county district in which the building to which the order relates is situated; and references in this Act to local planning authorities shall, in relation to the said powers, be construed as including references to the council of a county district. The purpose of this Amendment is to enable district councils to make building preservation orders in addition to the new planning authorities.

Amendment agreed to.

Clause, as amended, ordered to stand part of the Bill.
