The investigation of headlamp dazzle has been given first priority by the Vehicles Committee of the Road Research Board. Their researches are not yet complete.

Is it not a fact that this has been going on for many years now, and that the standard of safety on British roads is probably lower because of this factor?

I think that the hon. Member appreciates that this is a subject which cannot compel results.
