asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if his Department will provide facilities so that British women, resident in Germany, can make contacts with German women and children, to assist in welfare and social work on a voluntary basis

The Chancellor is the only MP allowed to drink Alcohol in the House of Commons; s/he is permitted an alcoholic drink while delivering the budget.
