Mr. Vane:

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what requests have been made by the commanding officer of the radio section of the Public Relations and Information Services Control Group of the Political Division of the C.C.G., Hamburg, since September, 1945, that an inquiry should be held into the conduct and suitability of the staff posted to that section; and what action has since been taken.

One such request was made in September, 1945, by an officer temporarily in charge of this section. This was fully investigated on the spot and the charges found to be unsubstantiated.
