Part of the debate – in the House of Commons at 12:00 am on 13 November 1946.
On a point of Order, Mr. Deputy-Speaker. Would you accept a Motion to report Progress? I call your attention to the absence of any responsible Minister. The Lord President has been out of the Chamber, and no Cabinet Minister on the Government Front Bench has been taking notes, or taking any interest in the proceedings. Will you accept a Motion "That the Debate be now adjourned?"
