asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will give an assurance that, where no alternative method of light or power is available, old premises, in respect of which application for the supply of electricity has been outstanding for several years, will not be treated any less favourably than new buildings.
Yes, Sir; but only in very exceptional cases will it be found that no alternative method of light or power is available.
