asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will extend the calfhood vaccination scheme against contagious abortion to all attested herds.

No, Sir. I am afraid I cannot undertake to do so at present. The limiting factor is the supply of vaccine, and priority must be given to dairy herds in view of the need for more milk. I shall, however, be prepared to reconsider the matter as soon as supplies of vaccine can be increased.
