asked the Secretary of State for War whether members of the army who have been in German prison camps or working on forced labour in Germany for long periods, and who had suffered physically and mentally, can claim their discharge on arrival in this country.

I would refer my hon. Friend to the replies I gave the hon. Member for London University (Sir E. Graham-Little) on 3rd May and the hon. Member for Grantham (Mr. Kendall) on 8th May.

In view of the great suffering that some of these prisoners have gone through, in some cases to my own knowledge, will the right hon. Gentleman do his best to give them relief as soon as possible?
