Oral Answers to Questions — Housing – in the House of Commons at 12:00 am on 22nd March 1945.
asked the Prime Minister if he has given consideration to the resolution of the Cowdenbeath Town Council, forwarded to him by the hon. Member for West Fife, requesting that all possible measures should be taken by the Ministry to speed up the provision of temporary houses; and whether he has any statement to make.
Perhaps the hon. Member would be good enough to await the statements which will be made on behalf of the Government in the course of the forthcoming Debate.
Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the council at Rosyth and the potential occupants are waiting, not for a Debate but for the houses; and will he see that the houses are provided? [Interruption.]
The hon. Member must be allowed to put his question.
Thank you, Sir, for standing up for one man.
