asked the Minister of Pensions the number of cases transferred to his Ministry for pension purposes by the three Services, Army, Navy and R.A.F., while still in hospital receiving treatment; and give the figures for each Service, separately.

I regret that the records of my Department do not enable me to furnish the information in the form asked for. Prior to the introduction of the revised rules announced by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War, on 27th February, some 250 cases a week were being notified to my Department as requiring in-patient treatment.
