asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has considered the Report on Post-War Trade Policy issued by the National General Export Merchants' Group, a copy of which has been sent to him; and, in view of the fact that approximately two-thirds of the pre-war export trade of Great Britain was handled by merchants, what assistance they will receive from his Department to re-establish their businesses.
