asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what attitude he takes in regard to the formation of Free German Movements in this country, the U.S.S.R. and the U.S.A
His Majesty's Government have not recognised, nor do they propose to recognise, any such movements, here or elsewhere.
Is my right hon. Friend satisfied that these movements, which I am glad to hear he is not recognising, are not formed for the benefit of our Allies, but, possibly, for the benefit of the German people?
It is a matter of assessment. I have stated our position.
Was not the hon. and gallant Member- in love with the German people in 1939; and did he not say so very often?
