asked the Minister of Agriculture whether there are any funds available to him with which to subsidise the provision of electricity to farms.

Mr. Hudson:

There are no funds at my disposal for the specific purpose of subsidising the provision of electricity to farms, though where electricity is installed as part of a plan for providing a water supply, the cost of the electric installation might be taken into account in calculating any grant payable.
