I am not aware of any arrangement of the kind having been made recently, but the question of the functions of the existing Scientific and Industrial Research organisation in India engaged the attention of my hon. Friend the Member for Cambridge University during his recent visit to India, and I await his report with interest. He attended meetings of the Board.
