I wish above all things to conform to your Ruling, Mr. Williams, but, if I am in Order, I want to submit that one of the reasons given us, by the Prime Minister himself, for the decision to make the Motion we are now discussing, was for the purpose of demonstrating confidence in the Government—"fortifying the Government," to use his own phrase.
