asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that members of the Auxiliary Territorial Service serving at a camp, the location of which has been communicated to him, have been compelled to work with pick and shovel in road-making and perform other irregular duties; that they are quartered in damp, leaky huts; that even those of them who are engaged in kitchen and office duties have been refused proficiency pay until they could pass aircraft recognition tests; and whether he will take steps to amend these conditions?
