asked the Minister of Agriculture why it is considered necessary to allocate 47 tons of feeding-stuffs per month during the coming winter to hunt establishments?

Mr. Hudson:

Rations are allowed for a small number of horses and hounds in hunt establishments so that fox hunting on a small scale can be carried on.

Is this done with a view to destroying foxes?

Mr. Hudson:

Yes, Sir, to destroy foxes.
