asked the Prime Minister whether it is intended to take any action to prevent any further deportation of Channel Islanders and other British subjects therein resident, to Germany and other countries in enemy occupation; and whether any effort has been made by the Allies to prevent the transfer of food from the islands and to intercept the transport of troops to and from the Channel Islands?

Did not my right hon. Friend intimate, in that reply, that there was no contact between him and the War Office, so that he did not know what was happening?

In seeking for information, will my right hon. Friend try to find out whether Channel Islanders have been sent to forced labour in Germany, or into internment, or whether they are at large there?
