asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Planning whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT his Ministry's instructions, dated 21st July, 1942, to local authorities and planning committees?
It would not be in accordance with precedent to publish such a circular letter in the OFFICIAL REPORT, but a copy will be placed in the Library.
Can my hon. Friend say whether he has tried to get the Press to publish these instructions, which are of great public interest?
The circular received some notice in the daily Press, and also received considerable comment and was generally printed in full in the technical Press.
